Specially formulated for pulse crops
SCIENTIFICALLY FORMULATED
VARTIMIX Partially Chelated is a micronutrient blend designed for pulse (legume) crops, supplying zinc (4%), iron (2%), manganese (0.5%), and copper (0.5%) in a partially chelated form for improved uptake and availability. Legumes rely on rhizobium bacteria in root nodules to fix atmospheric nitrogen, and this process depends heavily on adequate iron and micronutrient supply. By correcting these deficiencies, the blend enhances nitrogen fixation, promotes better pod formation and seed development, and raises protein content, delivering higher yield and quality in chickpea, pigeon pea, black gram, green gram, and lentil.
Zn: 4%, Mn: 0.5%, Fe: 2%, Cu: 0.5%, pH: 3.5±0.25

Common questions about VARTIMIX - Partially Chelated
Micronutrients like iron are essential for the rhizobium bacteria in root nodules that fix atmospheric nitrogen, so correcting deficiencies boosts natural nitrogen supply.
Chelation binds micronutrients in a protected form that resists soil fixation and improves plant uptake. Partially chelated blends offer better availability than plain sulphate mixes at a lower cost than fully chelated products.
For best results, treat seeds at 5g/kg before sowing, apply 8-10 kg/acre at sowing, and give a 0.5% foliar spray at flowering (45-50 days).
Yes. Better nitrogen fixation and micronutrient balance improve seed development and raise the protein content of the harvested pulses.
